Implicit surfaces

TODO: what is an implicit surface, distinction between discrete and analytic. Briefly mention different models (blobs, SDFs at least), how they are used in CSG/Shape Modeling in general, and also in Machine Learning. Mention the 2D and 3D cases, and also maybe animated implicits? Mention shadertoy.
